Alright quick question. I'm building a custom 3 inch exhaust for my 9000 and was wondering what size tip I should go with? I'm going to go with a roundish tip like the JT system. So should I go for a 3 inch or 4 inch tip on my system?
I personally need to fix where my exhaust comes out from under the bumper because it looks kinda wonkey (I used a bunch of scraps for that part) - I will be going with a 4" tip or two 2.5" tips...not sure yet
Hmm can anyone who has got some time help me pick out an exhaust tip? I've looked at Jegs, JC Whitney, and Summit and honestly, there is nothing really to eye catching. And the ones that are similar to what I want cost $60 + and to me, that's a little much for an exhaust tip!
I think dual tips might look cool too, they are pretty hard to find with a 3" inlet, but I have some time on my hands tomorrow and I might just try to make one myself ;-) It won't be stainless or anything...but hopefully it will look ok.
The link works, just the server is a pita sometimes. The only thing that sucks about my tip is that its the same raw-metal color that the rest of the exhaust is.
Actually I don't know...I didn't see many that I liked. Also, there isn't a ton of room for a really long one - so you'll need to take that into consideration as well.
Magnaflow makes 3" inlet tips.. good tips. They're listed under Truck and SUV.
