Quick update:

I've just been talking to Ian from RWD motorsport.. Vauxhall 2.0XE Engine to Borg Warner T5
He tells me they have just come up with a hydraulic concentrical slave kit with adapter to suit the t5 gearbox..
He says I may have to play with shims to get the throw out distance of the slave right.
Apart from that... all I need is the Bell housing...slave kit...and maybe a plumbing kit for the hydraulic clutch..

I have a local clutch specialist here (does a lot of drag racing set ups) I'm going to see him about a Friction disk that will suit the T5 gearbox shaft and see if he can "upgrade" a viggen pressure plate to take more torque.Maybe one of our local commodore or falcon friction disks s will fit??... I'm sure they can do that kind of stuff. This clutch guy does a lot of custom work..

I'm also going to post a picture of the wiring harness I have and I need you experts to tell me if I have what I need to make this engine work..
I'll post the pic of the harness soon..

I need all geniuses on this..don't be shy... lend me your wisdom..

Thoughts anyone?

Attention all smart people with wiring

Ok...before I start anything major..I just want to make sure that I have what I need to get this motor to work in another car...

This wiring harness is on a 2.0(204)engine..my plans are to transfer the harness to the 2.3-(234) engine..

Do I have what I need to make this work??

And secondly...who knows which wire goes where???

I know there is some smart guys out there that know this stuff..

What do you think ??

Looks like you are going to want to study the hell out of the T5 documentation!

It's really not that complicated. Hook up a few sensors, get power where needed, and viola!

How to T5 a c900, the easy way

This is for a c900, but most of the stuff applies to any T5 conversion. Of course everything you need will already be on your 2.0 motor, you'll just need to sift though and figure out how to power the harness and ECU and things like that.

I got my hands on a Borg Warner T5..

i tried to get the T5 box that Harvey spoke about a few posts earlier.. we dont have any of those here in Australia.
as it turns out,the input shaft can be modified anyway.

The T5 gearbox I have is known as a "world class" T5 T5 History in Ford Mustangs with specifications for World class and non-World class T5's Modern Driveline

i'm seeing a gearbox specialist Saturday to talk about shortening the input shaft and reducing the size of the spigot end to suit the bell housing and spigot bearing.
The gearbox guy assures me he can do this , no worries..

I will get him to fresh the box up whilst it is apart too..

I have also organized my bell-housing, slave and spigot bearing thru RWD motor sport.. I'm just waiting for him to get back to me about the custom slave cylinder.. They have just made one to suit my set up.

I have also organized my wiring harness to be modified by my new wiring buddy s900t8v . He lives in another state here in Australia (I'm in Sydney,he is in Melbourne..*Mexico* lool).

he knows his wiring and the ECU project back to front..

I'll remove my harness and post it to him.. he can set it up for me. I suck at wiring.

Things are taking shape ...........

These "world class" T5 boxes are rated @300 ft/lb's torque.

they will take 400 hp easy (apparently)

you can also get these boxes tricked up to take 600ft/lb

My gearbox is out of an XF Ford Falcon..
