More than 2 full months since his last post. Bogan has given up on his project. It's all parted out and headed to the recycler.

Bahaha.. Hey there Guys
No.. not to the crusher yet...lol
The car is in my shed ....
My fabricator ..who is as slow as a wet weekend, is finishing my Turbo Mod now.. He had to move the mounting bracket of the actuator so I could clock the turbo.
Once I get my turbo back... I'll wack an intercooler in to it ...pipe it up.
Thanks for thinking about me
This car is happening !!!!!! Ive spent wayyyy to much money on it...It will go !!
stay tuned
Cheers Guys

Bogan:

Actually, I think you're supposed to mount it that way since you're in Australia. Everything is reversed.

This is such a neat build. I have been debating engine choices for my future-project 1985 GTS. Probably going to go 1UZ, but this is such a unique option. Should be a ton of fun!

Here's mine, currently rust-free daily/beater Going to do full restoration in a few years.
