The belt number is usually the belt length in MM (although Gates might have its own system)

My comment referred to Gustav's post, where he gave the belt no.# and the length and width

Is the smaller length better, or the larger one? What one would you go with?

You like that don't you

I'm not sure which belt is best.. You have to find the perfect one as you don't want it top tight and you also don't want it too loose

Shorter belt is best. Ive had both . Longer one destroyed tensioner as it was to far extended. Mind you I have only been running the short one for 6000 miles did about 30000 miles on the other. The long belt had to much deflection right from the start so Im picking Ive got it about right this time. 2325 is length in millimeters

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I was curious if you've had any trouble running the 2325 mm belt since you've posted this?

Correct sizw 2.3 w/o AC is 2317mm according to your Saab owner's manual, so anyone with something longer might experience problems down the road.

I have been running a 2318x20mm belt Gates brand part code/number K060908/6PK2305. No issues at all. 2325 seems too long

2325 belt is still okay on mine , it hasnt been in more than a year though so cant swear by this length . The tensioner working further extended than originally designed for seems to be the issue.

Link to Bando 6PK2305. Says it's 2305 mm... you said you were running a 2318 mm? I'm confused.
