97x driver module problems

Hello everyone i just picked up a 05 97x with 125K 5.3L . Driver door controls not working ... read some of the posts already tried two replace modules not working I swapped the passenger side module to driver and windows and locks work ... I am stumped have no idea why it is not working with replacements...looking for ideas......

also all the orange leads have power to control module...... just dont get it

Were the replacement door modules new, or used? It's possible they have to be coded to the car to work correctly, and since the passenger side one is coded to your car that might be why it worked.

The 9-3SS was this way, since it has to do with some of the anti-theft system.

I see both were new! how do you get them coded? I had to code a new key. Does anyone know the process???

Dealer / independent shop with the proper programming software and the right software for the Tech2. It's not something you can do yourself (if that's even what the problem is - you could call a few places and ask, they should know for sure if they have to be programmed or not.)
