so last week when taking my center console out, the little ring on the ignition switch that recognizes the key, where it connects onto the board pulled out. causing the key not to be recognized, so i just re soldered the connection and all was good, only problem is, the solder will not adhere to the "wire" on the board so it keeps coming loose causing the awesome "key not accepted" all i have to do is just push the wire down to make a connection. my question is, what is this piece actually called, and is it the same between similar year 9-3's and 9-5s? and does this piece need to be programmed by the dealer to recognize my keys?
