I did it on mine, 5 speed auto. Drain by removing the plug side of trans. Dont remember what size maybe 22 mm or somewhere in there. Fill with 3 to 3.25 quarts of fluid. Bought the fluid from Saab.
There are still 4 and 5 speed automatic 9-5's(which I'm sure you know JK), so that doesn't really help too much
But regardless, the process is the same. Just Dexron III for the 4spd or 3309 for the 5spd. You can get the 3309 from Amsoil for a good deal cheaper than Saab. It meets the JWS 3309 spec, and is about half price when you buy the 1 Gallon jug of it.
4 speed 9-5 auto tranny is very easy to drain & flush.
If oyu can change engine oil you can do tranny oil.
the problem is the tranny is more like a sponge than a bucket.
To get all old oil out of it you need ot drain & flush 3 times ( min 1/2 driving between drains) this would take 3 X 4L drains to change all the oil.
I have been using B&M synethic lightweight shock proof oil without any problems for 3 years in my 99 4 speed auto.
