Though "DanF" has a 1997 red 9000 aero, and lives somewhere up here. He was at the meet in hopkinton state park. As well as redaerogirl who lives in summerville iirc.
Ohh I see..I was driving home the other day and saw the red 9000 near watertown square.
BRAKE TORQUING
Definition: A procedure generally used in performance tests to improve the off-the-line acceleration of a car equipped with an automatic transmission. It is executed by firmly depressing the brake with the left foot, applying the throttle with the car in gear to increase engine rpm, then releasing the brakes. Brake torquing is particularly effective with turbo charged cars because it helps overcome turbo lag.
Yeah I def don't do that. I press the gas I don't do the whole gas and Brake thing cause I don't really race so no need. But I replaced my pads last summer so I assume it's time for change.
Yeah I have an Auto so it never really redlines. Plus my car cannot burn out so I don't bother either.
