Do i need to upgrade anything to put a blow off valve on if so what do i need thanks sorry im not 2 sure.... I think i need to upgrade intercooler piping idk thanks...
typically i would totally agree with everyone...but against my better judgment im going to report that someone on saabcentral is successfully running one of the the new forge splitter valves...
If that valve were to vent more then the 5% (or whatever it is in T7) deviation that is built into the maps it'll still generate the CEL light that a true BOV would.
well, a guy with t7 is running it on SC...i cant get much info out of him yet, but if you watch the design video its an interesting design. bypass to intake pipe port opens fully and takes most air, while external vent opens a tad...its a much better design than other valves like that imho....it really might work.
yeah i was just saying...have anything you can look up the max air mass deviation in? wis or something? im curious to know now, i need a valve shortly i think anyway, and that thing is only 25 more than the normal full bpv.
or retrofit a stock second gen Eclipse/Talon Bypass valve... they sound pretty good and still re-run the charge air to the intake! Also pretty cheap tom come across on Ebay.
PM me if you'd like pics- my roommate's 9000 is running this set up.
