hey kk they printout the dealership gave to me looks way confusing... but no i did not pop the hood i just posted this from my phone wondering if i could have ?s answered b4 attempting tomorrow.. but if its easy then i should be ok
If it's the same as a Viggen of that year, it'll only be 1 torx screw that holds it in. The screw sandwiches the heat shield on top of the sensor then goes into the block. The sensor itself will pull straight out after you remove the screw, it's smooth in there and just has a small O-ring to seal. Make sure you get the old o-ring out and don't stack on top of it.
I've done 2 now, it's not in the easiest spot to reach, and you have to be a little flexibly dexterous.
