As the title states I am building a project that requires a GM mass air flow meter. I have one from a T7 car that looks nearly identical to the GM 3" unit except for the shape of the plug it uses. I was wondering if anyone knows if they use the same signal or should i keep lookin?
The big U-Haul truck that broke down on Saabvideos yesterday had a MAF that looked identical. Remember that most sensors either use a 5v signal or a 12v signal. I know the Saab ones are a 5v signal.
Yes they are the same....I believe the ones off of the Camero and Vette LT1s. you just need to fab up a connector wire bridge. I picked one up from a pick and pull for $5 and it works fine and I have it as a spare in the car just incase I need it some day
Very good, thats what i thought but was unsure and wanted someone in the know to say they had used a GM sensor in a Saab . Any chance the pins are in the same order so all i have to do is splice in the corresponding Saab plug with the harness I alrady have?
