The badge on my 9-5 is peeling really bad now, almost all the color is gone. I'm going to buy a new one from Taliaferro, but first... how exactly do you get the old one off? Put the new one on?
I've had good luck with a credit card (that i didn't care about ruining). If you can get a corner of the card under the badge, you're usually home free.
I used a Jewellers flat head screwdriver and on the kneck of the head and the shaft of the screwdriver I placed electrical tape. If you treat it like a paint tin lin and do small portions and work your way around it is simple and lifts straight out. The electrical tape stops any slips and scrapes.
I had the dealer do it they are replacing them all for free ( for now)
