9-4x Aero spotted, Simsbury CT

Being driven by Mark Mitchell, owner of the Mitchell auto group (incl. mitchell saab). Nice car, silver, looked great in person. I'd love to take it for a spin; hopefully the company sticks around to produce more than the 500 or so they have...

I live on the very end of wells, white house w/columns right near the 4-way stop at wells/east st. Usually in my vig (not to be confused with the other *absolutely spanked* LB Vig in town, license plates BLURKT), and my wife has a black 9-3 aero wagon.

I've seen that 9-4x rolling through downtown Simsbury a few times. Looks very clean in person. I saw one without dealer plates the other day too.

Hmmm. So the 9-4x is the SRX and Equinox. I'm not getting it. I don't like rebadging. Saab's had a quirkiness to them. Gauges and controls are GM.

Why not? You're a rebadged chimp, esp with logic like that.

Gauges and controls are all the exact same as the new 9-5, which, yes, was GM at heart, but from what I've read and from driving both vehicles, the 9-4x knocks the SRX out of the park. 9-5 was a great car as well, but a little too big and quiet for my liking. Give me a wagon with a stick and decent power and we'll talk.
