1991 9000CD Turbo - Wheel Choices

Seller wanted to keep the "teardrop with lip" wheels from the 91 CD I bought recently, which was totally fine with me.

After getting it home, I put on a set of Diamond Spoke wheels that I've had for a couple years, thinking they'd be a good match for a CD. Now I'm having second thoughts... but it might just be related to the goofy (to me) lines of a 9000 sedan.

If I don't stick with the Diamond Spokes, I'll likely put a set of Aeros on this one.

Opinions, please!

Did yours have the blue leather interior, too?

I think the diamond spokes would be better suited to a c900.. But they don't look horrible on that 9k.

Props on uncommon wheels!

In the end though... I vote aeros.

Thanks! One of the main reasons I bought the house: 1200 sqft garage.

Sadly, the garage is only so clean because I moved (almost) everything out... gotta be completely out of there be the end of the month. I still don't have a place to park the CD yet, but I'm sure I'll work something out.

The new place doesn't have as much garage/shop space, which is why I've been stripping/parting/selling 9000's for the last six months.

Not a bad deal. Is that pic of your car or the one they came off of?

It's the '91 CD Turbo mentioned above.

There has been a lot of progress on it in the last couple of weeks... I have been working to correct any flaw we run across.

Water pump and thermostat are next... then headliner and door panels.

Are the headliners shaped any different from the hatchback models. I've never actually had the pleasure of driving or being inside a CD model 9000 before. I think my next addition to my collection of 9000's is gonna be a CD or CDE. Mix it up a bit, all I've ever had was hatchback Saabs.

I'm not sure. When I pull the headliner, I'll snap a few pictures with dimensions.
