Bov install on my 9000?

Hey guys I'm new to this and fairly new to my 1998 Saab 9000 it's stock right I'm thinking of buying a cold air intake and a blow off valve when installing a blow off valve do you have to adjust anything? Or simply disconect my stock Turbo bypass valve and install bov then good to go? If someone could help please! TIA!

Its a direct swap and shouldn't require any tuning. You will have to plug the hole on either the dump valve return hose or the air intake pipe feeding the turbo fresh air. You can buy the plug from Genuinesaab.com. If you make your own, make sure its secure enough that it won't get sucked into the turbo.

If I were to use this air intake https://genuinesaab.com/catalog/prod...products_id=87 from that website which was my plan and also this bov https://genuinesaab.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=454{1}150{6}78 I wouldn't need a plug then correct or would I still need the plug?

You'll have everything you need if you choose the "blanking plug" option on the BOV page you linked.

The pipe included with the air filter connects to your stock flexible rubber intake pipe; it's an extension that allows you to locate the filter inside the fender, away from the high temperatures inside the engine bay.
