Talking 99' 9-5 upgrade from 04' Aero

Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and Saab. I have a 1999 9-5 SE w/ 2.3T, auto tranny and have an opportunity to pick apart a 2004 Aero w/ manual transmission. I am considering grafting the front fascia, interior, head, turbo, intercooler, struts, shocks, sway bars and manual transmission.

Any advice as to what will work and will not? I am especially curious about modifying the bumper cover to fit on a 99'.

With access to the donor car you can swap all of that. No worries.

Brakes are better on the aero. Don't forget the Ecu

I think I would make life easy and take the entire front subframe, engine/trans,suspension brakes and all in one fell swoop. That would save you a lot of time.

Sounds like you are thinking about getting a ton of parts from the 04. What kind of shape is the car in as a whole? Maybe it would be easier to fix up the 04 rather than transplant everything over to your current 99?
