Can't find an affordable clutch

Hello, I have a 2003 Saab 9-3 linear with the 2.0t. I have been looking for a Dual Mass flywheel for my Saab but have been able to find one for the "linear" That's not $400. I was able to find a Luk flywheel for the other trims (arc+vector) but not for liner (DMF117) does anyone know of a flywheel that will fit my car or if the DMF117 will fit seeing that mine is a 5 speed. I am frustrated and need to find a flywheel

why not just have your flywheel resurfaced? This is normally less expensive than buying a new one.

I'm willing to bet that the flywheels are the same between the trim levels. I'll do a little searching and see what I can find out for you.

The same flywheel is used for the linear, arc, and aero.

$424.99 at the New eEuroparts is crazy.

Would this do it? Rock Auto, $132.79. 2003 SAAB 9-3 2.0L L4 Turbocharged Flywheel | RockAuto

If you do a coupon search Rock Auto has continuous 5% off deals available, so if that's the right part it'll be like $112

In this case it's not fair to compare OEM to aftermarket really but really make sure you cross shop before clicking the button at the New eEuroparts because the New eEuroparts is definitely not what it used to be, pretty frequently they're waaaaaaayyyyy expensive under the new owners.

I don't know if they borrowed a bunch of money to buy the place and have to charge more and run continuous tricky/insincere "sales" or what, but the New eEuroparts concentrates spending money on picnics and advertising bogus free shipping, endless email spam for useless "sales" and meanwhile have enacted flashy website "upgrades" that have a lot less real functionality than the old ones, and don't show the actual diagrams, or usable line art anymore, just like everywhere else lol.

If you want to pay too much but at least be sure that you're getting the right part, check out eSaabparts.com, they at least maintain line art of the parts they sell:

https://www.esaabparts.com/saab/parts/55576199 $394.41 there, 8% less expensive than eEuroparts for the genuine piece.

For $395.10 with free shipping you can upgrade to a SPEC lighter weight flywheel... SPEC Aluminum Flywheel - Saab 9-3 5sp 2003-2009 2.0L Aero,Vector 6sp, SPEC Clutch SS23A

And SPEC pricing is outrageous. I miss the old eEuroparts, they held the floor down on parts prices, you didn't even have to cross shop anywhere, it was awesome.

Here's another option from FCPeuro, $233.29 These guys are hungry and want to sell some parts: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/saa...wheel-55576200

I found them when the New eEuroparts wanted like $8.00 for a rubber exhaust hanger that FCPeuro was selling for $0.69 or something like that--I bought 10. Meanwhile the New eEuroparts is playing email promotion and "free" shipping games.
